With Mid-East MicroJamz, David Fiuczynski and Utar Artun are bringing ancient musical traditions to life with a neo-cosmopolitan approach. In collaboration with diverse musicians from all around theworld, Middle-Eastern MicroJamz is a global music project that aims to engage multicultural audiences in the US and abroad. By creating music that may hardly be defined by any existing stylistic categorizations, composers Utar Artun and David Fiuczynski believe this music will inspire people around the world to break down musical hierarchies based on nationality, class, or ethnicity, and increase creative freedom.
